As The Golden Health Retreat – Elysia is first and foremost a health retreat, there are no dedicated meeting or conference facilities. However, where the resort is entirely booked out (74 villas) by a conference group, facilities can be arranged.

It is suitable for team building, executive meeting, corporate retreats, wellness seminars.

Specialists are available for team building activities
 
The following team building activities are available through Hunter Valley Events:

• Wine Harvest Dinner – takes place in a local winery, the dinner highlights all that the Hunter Valley has in abundance; world class wines, fresh produce, and entertainment for all occasions.
• Wine Country Ho’ Down – includes whip cracking side shows and country games of wine spitting, grape stomping and the bucking bull.
• Medieval Feast -  Guests enjoy a medieval themed banquet with strolling entertainers, colourful jesters and knights on horseback. 
• Mad Hatters Garden Party – takes place in the picturesque Storybook Garden at Hunter Valley Gardens and includes a riddle hunt.
• Hands on Blending – Supervised by a Winemaker, guests break off into teams among the wine vats and compete in a hands on Wine Challenge.
• Hands on Hunt – a fun competitive challenge that involves teams working together, following cryptic clues around the valley or on-site at a hotel or winery location.
• Hands on Location – teams go out on location in the Hunter Valley to enjoy the challenge of bringing a story to life through making a short film, documentary or TV commercial.
• Hands on with a Chef – teams are donned with a chef’s hat and apron and are educated by a high profile local chef through a range of entertaining tasks in the preparation and consumption of fine Hunter Valley food and wine.
• Hands on the Wheel – a rally car experience for small groups
• Hands on Creation – groups can have a creative session with a local artist
• Hunter’s Mixed Dozen – a self facilitated hunt designed for small groups
• Hunter Valley World Cup – teams compete in a number of wild and whacky games
• Harvest Games – groups get involved in grape stomping, wine spitting, barrel racing and wine evaluation games
