The great outdoors!

For those who enjoy the great outdoors, the white sands of Mollymook Surf Beach is just 7 kilometres away from Meadowlake Lodge. The heights of Pigeon House Mountain or Narrawallee Headland or Mollywook Rainforest is ideal for family walk.

During June and July, Meadowlake Lodge usually have 60 to 100 black swans on our Big Pond. There are pelicans on the back wetlands and ducks galore. Cranes, ibis, purple swamp hens and spoonbills also feature. Since August 2003, the Lodge have had purple swamp hens, known as pukekos in New Zealand, nesting next to the top dam near the house.

Guests can have fun with golf at Royal Meadowlake, a 7 hole chipping course. Borrow clubs and balls for a hit and giggle.

For serious players, Mollymook Golf Club boasts two magnificent golf courses and two modern clubhouses. Championship Hilltop course is 18 holes of bushland beauty, situated so guests can still hear the waves rolling in on the pristine Mollymook Beach. Hilltop is affectionately known as “The Ultimate Challenge” and was rated No. 97 golf course in the March 2006 edition of The Australian Golf Digest. With meandering tree-lined fairways and undulating greens, Hilltop provides a stern test for any golfer. However, no matter how your game of golf is going, you will always enjoy the walk and serenity created by the amphitheatre of native Australian flora and fauna.

Meadowlake Lodge is also ideally placed to offer guests the chance to explore Milton's excellent art and craft galleries, antique stores, good restaurants and coffee shops.
