Exceptional New Zealand cuisineFiordland Lodge’s dining room, accommodating 30 people, is open for breakfast from 7am–9.30am and dinner from 6pm–9pm. The three-course dinner menu, created by the in-house chef, changes daily, but dishes feature Fiordland seafood, lamb and other local produce, and might include delicious offerings such as penne with smoked mussels, lemon and chives; roast loin of venison on root vegetable mash with a red wine sauce; and iced Cointreau parfait.The excellent cuisine is accompanied by fine New Zealand wines from the Lodge’s cellar, including Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gris from Central Otago, and Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Pre-dinner drinks are served at the fully licensed bar, and most dietary requirements can be accommodated if prior notice is given. |
