Saman Villas are in a tropical beach location at Aturuwella village, near the town of Bentota, 65 kilometres south of Sri Lanka’s capital, Colombo. The resort is 92 kilometres from Bandaranayake International Airport, which is served by a variety of airlines – including Cathay Pacific, Sri Lankan Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Malaysian Airlines and Emirates. Road, helicopter or seaplane transfers to and from the resort can be arranged at an additional cost.

Bentota lies at approximately 6.40° South and 79.90° East – the climate is sunny, hot and humid all year round, with temperatures ranging from 28°C–35°C.
