This tiny coral atoll lies approximately 2 km off the mainland. It is in a region of Fiji far removed from where the bigger resorts of Fiji are found, and offers guests a quiet, laid-back retreat. Directions:Fly to Nadi from many international airports and then take a local 30 minute flight to Nausori, Suva. Guests may choose to hire a taxi or car along the coastal route that takes about 3 hours.Alternatively, fly direct to Nausori from New Zealand or Australia. Toberua Island Resort will arrange pickups 24 hours a day. It is only a 10-minute taxi ride and 25-minute boat ride from Nausori Airport near Suva. On the scenic trip by boat to the island guests meander down the Navaloa River and about 2 km out to sea. As the island is within the main reef, the seas are calm.
